Mission
Athletic Black Excellence (ABE) our group is devoted to supporting and encouraging black student athletes. We aspire to establish a welcoming environment in which our members may prosper academically, athletically, and socially. We seek to provide our members with the skills they need to excel both on and off the field via mentorship, leadership development, and advocacy. We will endeavor to increase diversity and to break down institutional obstacles that disproportionately affect black student athletes. Our aim is to develop a sense of belonging and excellence among our members, as well as to act as a link between student athletes, the campus community, and the larger society. We are dedicated to encouraging academic accomplishment, athletic excellence, and personal development while simultaneously pushing for social justice and equality. We will preserve the ideals of honesty, respect, and responsibility in all of our endeavors, and aspire to be a model organization for black male student athletes.

Membership Benefits
We will provide a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in which black and minority student athletes may grow as leaders and reach their full potential. We envision our members as leaders who inspire and drive their peers to achieve greatness. We will provide our members with the materials, support, and experiences they need to improve their leadership talents. We will work to provide workshops, seminars, mentoring programs, and community service initiatives to assist our members in developing their confidence, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.
