The mission of Best Buddies is to enhance the lives of those with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities by providing the opportunity to socialize. We create this by matching college students with adults with disabilities, creating one-on-one friendships.
Being a member of Best Buddies comes with a lot of great benefits! You will get the chance to create one-on-one friendships with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, which can be incredibly rewarding. You will also have opportunities to develop leadership skills through various events. These events include different crafts, snacks, and activities each month. Overall, Best Buddies is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and make a positive impact with the low time commitment of 2 hours once a month.
