Mission The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's Game and Media Entertainment Developers (GAMED) provides its members with opportunities to develop skills and practices for making games and other interactive media. This organization is open to anybody of any experience level; our members include experienced programmers, visual artists, game designers, writers, composers, and audio designers who are always happy to support new members. That means that no matter what part(s) of the game development process you're interested in, we've got your back. Our activities include panels on game development's many subfields, industry experience workshops, advising help, visits to off-campus conferences of significance to the games industry, and weekend-long game jams. We also provide a chance to meet, socialize, and network with a large community of people who share an interest in making games. If you'd like to learn more about GAMED, swing by our official Discord: https://discord.gg/NVTdu5a
