The mission of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Veterans’ Alliance is to assist reservists, guardsmen, active-duty service members, veterans, and dependents in achieving their educational goals and to provide assistance throughout the transition process and beyond. We want to develop a social network and enhance overall fellowship and camaraderie within the campus.
Joining a Student Veterans Alliance on campus offers veterans and military-affiliated students a strong sense of community, peer support, and connection. Members benefit from academic resources, career development opportunities, leadership roles, and access to veteran-focused events and scholarships. The alliance also advocates on behalf of student veterans, organizes social and service events, and provides a supportive space for mental health and wellness. It's a great way to connect, lead, and thrive on campus.
