Membership has many benefits including research and travel grant opportunities, ability to present your research at district, regional, and national conventions, and publication possibilities, and awards. Individual membership in TriBeta is through a chapter on the campus of a four-year accredited college or university or through a club at a two-year institution. There are over 650 chapters offering their members activities and experiences that enrich and extend, but do not duplicate the primary requirements for the biology major. Since TriBeta was founded in 1922, more than 300,000 students have been inducted as members of the society.
