Lights, Camera, Homecoming!

We’re thrilled to invite you and your organization to UW-Whitewater’s Hollywood-themed Homecoming Week 2024! This year, we’re rolling out a star-studded event that promises excitement, creativity, and community spirit. Here’s how your organization can shine:

Events

Attend the Homecoming Info Nights in UC Summers Auditorium to learn more about how to participate! 

  • Monday, October 7th- 8:30PM
  • Monday, October 14th- 8:30PM
  • Monday, October 21st- 8:30 PM

Week-of Homecoming Events:

  • Sunday, October 27th - Talent Show Auditions - 11 am-4 pm
  • Monday, October 28th - Study Night - 7 pm
  • Tuesday, October 29th - Trivia Night - 7 pm
  • Wednesday, October 30th - Bingo Night - 7 pm
  • Thursday, October 31st - Talent Show - 7 pm
  • Friday, November 1st - Bonfire Spirit Night - 7 pm
  • Saturday, November 2nd – Parade - 10am

Theme & Movie Selection

To align with this year's theme, we invite each organization to select one movie to represent them during Homecoming Week (this will be for banners, talent show, parade, etc). At the first Info Meeting, we'll be using a Lottery System for movie selections, so please come prepared with a list of options. We want to ensure your choices adhere to community guidelines and have alternatives ready in case your top pick has already been chosen. From that info night on, your organization must adhere to the movie/series that you have selected and you will be scored as such.

This is an exciting opportunity for groups to ensure their individuality throughout the competitions and we can not wait to see what all the groups select! 
All student orgs that want to pariticipate in the competitions must submit the participation form by noon on Wednesday October 16th using this link, so we can coordinate all the exciting details. We can’t wait to see your creativity and enthusiasm bring the magic of Hollywood to life!
