The Muslim Student Association (MSA) mission is to promote understanding to combat Islamophobia and to build bridges of respect for the many diverse communities on our campus, while creating a supportive community for Muslim students, promote growth through Islam, and celebrate the Islamic culture through education.

Group Purpose

1) Facilitate the integration of Muslim Students into all aspect of campus life.

2) Promote a better understanding of Islam.

3) Allow positive interaction between Muslim and non-Muslim students.

4) Provide a forum where Muslim students attending UWW can discuss their issues and concerns, allowing for more representation of the Muslim population.

5) Helps eliminate stereotypes about Muslims.

6) Share our differencing cultures with one another, because Muslims come from many different backgrounds.

Members Benefits

Membership Benefits Include: -MSA shall be an organization with no dues to pay, but donations are welcome -Community support and friendships -Spiritual growth through prayers and studies -Events like Ramadan Iftars available only to members -Educational workshops on Islam -Volunteer and Community service -Safe and Inclusive space -Leadership opportunities
