Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT) is an independent nonprofit led by Black and Brown leaders. Founded in 2017, LIT empowers young people to build independent political power in pursuit of social, racial, and economic justice. Through values-driven issue campaigns, electoral organizing, direct action, public policy advocacy, and leadership development, we create pathways for meaningful change. We welcome anyone who is ready to build community and drive change on campus.
