Athletic Black Excellence (ABE) our group is devoted to supporting and encouraging black student athletes. We aspire to establish a welcoming environment in which our members may prosper academically, athletically, and socially. We seek to provide our members with the skills they need to excel both on and off the field via mentorship, leadership development, and advocacy. We will endeavor to increase diversity and to break down institutional obstacles that disproportionately affect black student athletes. Whitewater's men's club basketball team is an org on campus that gives students an opportunity to play competitive basketball throughout the year.

Membership is open to any UW-W student or staff. However, membership is limited to 36 players, 12 players on the Purple Team, and 12 players on the White and 12 general members and or practice players. Furthermore, due to traveling limitations only 12 players, 3 coaches and 2 managers (17 total members) per team will be allowed to travel for tournaments.
